    We’re currently partnering with a client in need of a Contract HR Business Partner to support their dynamic HR team. If you’re a hands-on HR leader with deep employee relations experience and a passion for supporting California-based workforces, we want to hear from you!

    **This role is fulltime onsite in Brea, CA**

    What You’ll Do:

    • Be a trusted HR partner, supporting team members through employee relations challenges with empathy, fairness, and sound judgment.

    • Serve as a go-to resource for non-exempt employees, helping create a compliant and people-first culture.

    • Ensure our HR practices remain strong and audit-ready by maintaining documentation, updating policies, and supporting compliance initiatives.

    • Help employees navigate benefits and compensation questions with clarity and confidence.

    • Pitch in with recruiting tasks—reviewing resumes and helping candidates feel welcome from their first interaction.

    • Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit—making every stage seamless and consistent.

    • Collaborate with a supportive HR team and build strong internal relationships.

    • Thrive in an onsite role where your presence and positivity are felt every day.

    What You Bring:

    • 5–10+ years in HR, with growth across roles and responsibilities.

    • Strong experience in employee relations, especially in California.

    • A background in supporting non-exempt, hourly, or frontline workforces.

    • A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and excellent communication skills.

    • Familiarity with healthcare environments is a bonus.

    • Experience with ADP systems and general HR tech.

    • A working knowledge of benefits, comp, and compliance.
      Bonus: PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or on the path).
