Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to support a fast-paced industrial services organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor to field leadership and employees, ensuring HR programs, systems, and processes align with operational goals and workforce needs.
The HRBP will play a critical role in strengthening employee engagement, maintaining HR data integrity, supporting benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in an operational environment and can balance administrative execution with strategic support.
Key Responsibilities
HR Partnership & Employee Support
- Serve as a primary HR resource to employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee matters
- Support field leadership with employee relations, workforce administration, and HR best practices
- Assist in preparing employee communications, presentations, and HR program materials
HR Operations & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate employee records and reporting structures within HRIS systems (UKG/UltiPro or similar)
- Support onboarding, employee status changes, and personnel file management
- Generate HR reports and support leadership with workforce data analysis
- Assist with job profile development, salary benchmarking, and FLSA classification support
Benefits & Compliance Administration
- Support employee benefits administration, including enrollments, employee education, and open enrollment coordination
- Partner with third-party administrators on employment verification, unemployment claims, and benefits-related matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies and procedures
- Participate in internal audits related to compensation, benefits, and HR compliance
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with HR initiatives, process improvements, and special projects supporting operational growth
- Help strengthen HR processes, reporting accuracy, and employee support systems
- Contribute to improving employee experience through efficient and responsive HR service delivery
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience, preferably supporting operations or field-based teams
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG (UltiPro), Workday, or similar platforms
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and presentations
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
