    With our recent expansion into Colorado, we are seeking a passionate Construction Project Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Castle Rock, CO. In this role, you will work to manage a wide range of commercial construction projects and partner closely with internal and external members to plan, organize, and manage the daily operations of the job site.

     

    What you will do:

    • Supervise job site activities while coordinating with subcontractors and trades
    • Develop and maintain project schedule with precision
    • Ensure quality and safety standards are met through the implementation of assurance programs
    • Foster a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures
    • Assist in project constructability and value engineering as needed
    • Manage material and equipment approvals
    • Oversee job closeout and provide owner occupancy training
    • Administer progress meetings to keep projects on track
    • Monitor project expenditures to meet budget requirements

     

    Our ideal candidate will have:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
    • Minimum 4 years of experience as a construction superintendent
    • Working knowledge of general construction supervision in Colorado preferred
    • Experience working in the K-12, higher education, multi-family, or municipality industry preferred
    • Expert knowledge of construction means and methods
    • Superior organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
    • Alignment with O-A-K’s corporate values: integrity, responsibility, and valuing people
    • OSHA certification or additional construction certification is a plus!
