We take a people-first approach to our work and are seeking a Sales Consultant (People Strategist) to join our Business Development team and grow our opportunities in West Michigan and the lakeshore areas. This individual will play a vital role in helping HR Collaborative generate new leads as well as managing relationships with both current and potential clients.
As a Sales Consultant (People Strategist), you will:
Play a vital role on our Business Development team to implement sales and marketing plans, strategies, campaigns, and goals to help meet our revenue goals
Work to identify prospective leads from new and existing clients and facilitate initial client conversations
Attend weekly Sales & Marketing meetings to collaborate on related projects and help drive new business
Maintain and develop positive relationships with new and current clients and provide a high level of customer service
Utilize sales and marketing tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Proposal writing tools, and other social media) to help generate new business
Participate in community, non-profit, and industry-specific networking events, to cultivate new relationships and business opportunities
Other duties assigned
An ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree specializing in Business, Management, Sales & Marketing or similar field; or equivalent work experience in sales
5+ years experience in solution selling
Preferred: Two (2) years of selling or consulting in industries based around employee services (Payroll, HRIS, Employee Benefits)
Experience in a client-facing role with a small to mid-sized business
Project management experience
Ability to collaborate with a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
