Beacon Pointe is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start their career in Human Resources and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the employee experience, with a focus on onboarding, wellness initiatives, and HR systems support.
Responsibilities
- Own the onboarding process once candidates are handed off from recruiting, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires
- Support the employee wellness program, including planning, communication, and engagement activities
- Assist with running reports and maintaining data in the HRIS system
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR support
- Help coordinate internal HR communications and employee engagement initiatives
- Provide administrative support for various HR programs and projects as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
Qualifications
- 0–1 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field (internships or relevant coursework a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR field
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
