    Position Summary

    BizOps Collective is seeking an HR Coordinator to join the HR team of a dynamic manufacturing client. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in delivering hands‑on administrative and operational support within a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment. This position is central to ensuring smooth execution of daily HR operations with a focus on full-cycle recruitment, onboarding facilitation, employee relations, payroll/timekeeping administration, and HR compliance activities. The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR Business Partner to help drive a positive employee experience, advance employee retention efforts, support conflict-resolution practices, and reinforce employee development, engagement, and training expectations with leadership.

    Overview of Responsibilities

    Serve as an operational extension of the HR Business Partner, working collaboratively to execute both site‑level needs and broader HR initiatives cascaded from HQ.

    Lead full-cycle recruitment activities and ensure all hiring activities are aligned with company standards and timelines including posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the offer processes.

    Support the HRBP with executing large‑scale, seasonal hiring initiatives that require proper planning, scheduling, data tracking, and workflow coordination to ensure hundreds of new hires are identified and onboarded within a short window.

    Assist with coordinating onboarding activities including new hire documentation, orientation, and HRIS entry.

    Assist with facility access and badge administration, ensuring security standards are properly followed.

    Support the HRBP with driving culture, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.

    Assist with analyzing internal leadership training gaps among and providing ongoing guidance to leaders on effective employee development and counseling expectations.

    Assist with employee relations activities by gathering details, preparing proper documentation, and coordinating corrective action meetings.

    Support effective conflict resolution by helping leaders address workplace issues promptly, facilitating fair and consistent problem‑solving, and reinforcing HR‑aligned practices to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

    Assist employees with general inquiries, ensuring to deliver timely answers, guidance, and issue resolution.

    Assist with timekeeping administration, attendance tracking, and payroll‑related activities.

    Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date employee records, ensuring proper data integrity to support reporting, analytics, and audit readiness within Excel and HRIS.

    Maintain compliance with corporate standards and labor law requirements, including state payroll and break regulations.

    Assist with additional tasks or projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    1–3 years experience providing HR support and leading high-volume, seasonal recruitment activities within manufacturing, production, or large-scale retail operations environments.

    Demonstrated understanding of key HR focus areas including conflict resolution, employee retention strategies, and compliance with state payroll and breaktime regulations.

    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; SHRM coursework or intent to pursue certification is a plus.

    Proficiency using Microsoft products, especially Excel is required; Paylocity experience is a plus.

    Strong technical skills with ability to learn new HRIS and timekeeping platforms quickly and efficiently.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect easily with others.

    Resourceful with a figure it out mentality and comfortability asking questions or for help to ensure workflow continuity is maintained.

    Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and pivot in various directions simultaneously with ease.

    Possesses a positive attitude, team player mentality, and solution-oriented mindset.

    Adaptable and not easily overwhelmed with the proven ability to work through ambiguity without a rigid, black-and-white approach.

    Able to work extended hours, weekend schedules, and overtime during peak operational seasons.
