    Job Summary:

    Provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources. Human Resources duties will include benefit administration and recruitment support. Liaison to the staff. Interacts with all team members providing human resources guidance.

    Essential Functions:

    • General administrative support to include but not limited to fielding phone calls, file management, and document preparation.
    • Adheres to a strict code of confidentiality.
    • Greets all associates in a friendly, helpful manner to learn of the service need from Human Resources. Will respond to the service need by providing the requested information and or assistance.
    • Updates the weekly job opening list and communicates it to the agencies within the community and internally on the bulletin board.
    • Actively screens applicants and conducts pre-interviews.
    • Reference checking of all applicants hired.
    • Coordinates New Team Member Orientation program. Prepares materials for New Team Member Orientation and will present New Team Member Orientation to all new hires.
    • Assist with new job offers and new team member paperwork and onboarding, including I-9 form administration and transponders.
    • Assists with ordering and inventory of name tags and uniforms
    • Assists with separations as needed, including collection of uniforms, issuance of final paychecks and filing of separation records.
    • Manages the non-exempt personnel files to include daily filing.
    • Assist new team members with online benefit enrollment
    • Oversees various employee relations projects such as monthly birthday celebrations, associate recognition, and all property-wide meetings.
    • Maintain and update team member bulletin boards.
    • Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards and procedures of the department.
    • Be familiar with the property including but not limited to the services, amenities, and outlets.
    • Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
    • Available for work assignments outside of the associate’s customary work schedule. On occasion, this may include an evening or weekend.
    • Adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
    • Compliance with all property policies and procedures described and communicated by management.
    • Additional duties as assigned by management

    Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Minimum of 2 years of human resources experience in benefits, recruitment, training, and employee relations required. Previous office and clerical support preferred.
    • Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple duties.
    • Excellent telephone manners.
    • Friendly and personable.
    • Must be able to understand and write English.
