    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as support and backup to the Human Resources Manager, and for other clerical functions, at the Pollock, LA location. The successful candidate is a self-starter who thrives as part of a high-performance team and is up for the challenge of a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. This individual will be expected to prioritize their workload and complete multiple requests accurately and on time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Complete hourly, temporary and salary employee timekeeping processes in preparation for payroll processes.

    • Enter and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, files, documentation and accompanying spreadsheets.

    • Maintain the plant's timekeeping system and processes

    • Process employee changes, updates, requests, as needed

    • Prepare reports as requested by HR Manager

    • Perform clerical tasks that support all required functions in the office

    • Assist mill HR Managers with requests and inquiries

    • Document and update departmental procedures and processes

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Problem solving/analysis and investigative skills.

    • Unquestionable discretion and confidentiality

    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and 365

    • Detail oriented, quality focus

    • Professional level written and verbal communication skills.

    • High level organization and prioritization skills

    • Self-motivated and ability to multi-task

    • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines

    Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelor's degree Human Resources (or Business Administration), or Certified HR Professional credentials, are required.

    • Degreed or HR certified candidates are required to have 3 or more years of prior related Human Resource experience

    • Candidates who do not have a degree or certification may be considered only if they have 10 or more years of prior related Human Resource experience

    • Working knowledge, or understanding of basic labor law, highly beneficial
