TEMP TO HIRE 

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

• Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm.
• Workweeks more than 40 hours may exist periodically through the year during busy season with occasional weekend work.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to satisfying the customer and achievement of safety, quality and productivity goals in a time sensitive environment.
• General office working conditions.
• Requires the ability to frequently sit and use hands in a repetitive motion on the computer.
• Occasionally requires the ability to lift/carry boxes up to 20 lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED OR REQUESTED:

• Contact retail traffic department via retailer website, phone, and email
• Submit all required information from retailer into the retailer website portal to include purchase order and shipping window - – Walmart Retail Link, Transplace, MacysNet, etc
• Review shipping guides to study the necessary requirements for shipment.
• Monitor the shipping process depending on retailer specific instructions.
• Ongoing management of the open order report.
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries
• Schedule shipments for orders ready for processing.
• Notify drivers on requirements of the loads as needed to facilitate movement.
• Must be familiar with online routing routines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years routing experience with a Logistics, Trucking or 3PL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Basic math skills for practical applications.
• Excellent Communication skills when dealing with customers and coworkers via telephone, two-way radio and email, and able to maintain a positive, professional manner at all times.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to understand problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
