JOB SUMMARY: The Shopify Developer will develop an interactive and competent online Shopify store for driving sales and revenue. This will be achieved by generating custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing templates based on defined brand benchmarks. This role will handle the development of Shopify-based websites from start to finish, including layout, user interface (UI), and front-end development. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage, create, and update Shopify Ecommerce site to increase sales and revenue.
• Design customizable Shopify themes and alter existing templates according to established benchmarks.  
• Be an expert in all aspects of the ECommerce platform.
• Ensure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimize the shop for overall efficiency and functionality.
• Test and debug websites regularly to improve performance.
• Based on findings, provide technical support and coordination.
• Expertly manage and oversee all aspects of the eCommerce forum. 
• Closely collaborate with UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design teams to build strong, unique, and state-of-the-art user experiences.
• Develop seamless connections with platform APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), marketing tools, and Shopify apps to optimize the store for peak efficiency and functionality. 
• Enhance store performance by regularly testing and debugging the website.
• Provide adequate technical support and quality assurance to keep the Shopify store running seamlessly.
• Boost conversions by properly optimizing the website.
• Setting up sales and promotions across all countries
• Product catalog maintenance within Shopify
• Convert specifications and mock-ups into fully functional solutions
• Modify and update current sites to incorporate new features and enhance UI/UX design
• Configure and test third-party Shopify applications
• Maintain existing Shopify applications (ex. Reviews module and interface by Yotpo, Rewards module and interface by Yotpo, abandoned cart integrations to email/SMS platforms)
• Create and customize Shopify accounts

• Understanding of Shopify Hydrogen JS framework.
• Mastery of HTML, CSS and Liquid template language.
