    Role Overview

    We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support our growing US office. This role will partner closely with leadership and functional teams to drive key HR initiatives including recruiting, performance management, manager training, and culture and engagement programs.

    The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong engineering population. This role will help build scalable HR programs that support both business execution and employee experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

    Partner with hiring managers to understand headcount needs and define role requirements

    Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for key roles, with a focus on technical and cross-functional hiring

    Drive sourcing strategies, screening, interview coordination, and candidate experience

    Partner with external recruiting resources and agencies as needed

    Support offer process coordination, compensation alignment, and candidate closing

    Track hiring progress and pipeline metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, hiring quality)

    Performance Management & Reviews

    Own and manage the US performance review cycle (quarterly and/or annual)

    Partner with leadership to ensure consistent evaluation standards and performance calibration

    Support managers in goal-setting, feedback conversations, and performance improvement processes

    Ensure review documentation is completed accurately and on time

    Help connect performance outcomes to compensation, promotions, and development planning

    Manager Training & Leadership Development

    Support the development and rollout of manager training programs for new and existing people managers

    Build toolkits, templates, and training materials to improve leadership consistency

    Coach managers on employee communication, feedback delivery, and team performance expectations

    Partner with leadership to strengthen management capability across the organisation

    Culture & Employee Engagement

    Lead and execute culture-building initiatives and employee engagement programs

    Plan and coordinate team-building events, internal communications, and office initiatives

    Support employee experience improvements aligned with company values and culture principles

    Drive employee listening efforts (pulse surveys, feedback sessions) and recommend action plans

    HR Operations & Employee Support

    Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers for day-to-day HR matters

    Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes

    Ensure HR practices align with US employment policies and compliance requirements

    Maintain accurate employee records and support HR systems (HRIS / ATS)

    Partner with HR leadership on HR policy updates and process improvements

    Qualifications

    Required

    5–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Generalist and/or HR Manager roles

    Experience leading recruiting efforts and partnering with hiring managers

    Strong experience managing performance review cycles and performance management processes

    Demonstrated ability to support manager training and leadership development programs

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

    Highly organised with strong execution skills and attention to detail

    Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced office environment

    Authorization to work in the United States

    Preferred

    Experience supporting engineering or technical teams

    Startup or high-growth company experience

    Experience partnering with global HR teams or working across regions

    Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems

    Experience supporting compensation cycles, promotions, or org planning

    Pay Range Disclosure: The base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $165,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation, including a discretionary bonus and/or equity, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
