Goodspeed Merrill is a fast growing, collaborative law firm, and we're looking to bring on an HR Generalist to support our growing team. This role is open due to a valued team member relocating out of state.
You'll work closely with our Director of HR and play a hands-on role in recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and day-to-day HR operations. This is a great role for someone who likes to own their work, move fast, and be truly embedded in the business — with real ownership, visibility, and the ability to make an immediate impact.

What You'll Do
- Assist the Director of Human Resources
- Full-cycle recruiting for legal and administrative roles
- Coordinate interviews, offers, and onboarding
- Partner with leadership on hiring needs and people initiatives
- Administer and support employee benefits programs
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, HRIS records, and personnel files
- Assist with performance management and employee relations
- Support culture, engagement, and internal HR projects
- Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee information
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in HR
- Strong recruiting background with the ability to manage multiple searches
- High attention to detail with strong organization and follow-through
- Clear, professional communicator comfortable working with leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
