  • Responsibilities

    JOB STATEMENT

    The HR Generalist supports recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, privileging, HRIS, and compliance to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience.

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Communicates HR policies and responds to employee inquiries.
    • Support employee relations and workplace concerns.
    • Ensures compliance with employment laws and organizational standards.
    • Coordinates recruitment, onboarding, and separation processes.
    • Administers benefits and leave management (FMLA, ADA, LOA, Worker's Comp).
    • Reviews and audits payroll changes, timecards, and HRIS records.
    • Assist with credentialing, provider enrollment, and compliance reporting.
    • Prepares employment documents and manages badge/security access.
    • Assist with training, HR reporting, and compliance metrics
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education : Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Preferred.
    • Specialized Training/Certifications : PHR/SHRM-CP, a plus.
    • Experience : * 4+ Years of HR experience; healthcare/FQHC experience a plus
    • Knowledge: * Employment Laws (ADA, Title VII, ADEA, IRCA, FMLA);
    • Skills : * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Attention to Detail * Effective Communication * Confidentiality * Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
    • Abilities: * Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. * Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. * Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods. * Ability to lift 10lbs. unassisted.
    • Other: * Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between clinic sites. * Must maintain required immunizations in accordance with organizational policy.
