Provide administrative support to the Director of HR and HR staff; responsible for HR functions to include, but not limited to: HRIS administration, recruitment, leave management, on & off-boarding, preparing all wage verifications, managing HR website page, HR record management. Must maintain the confidentiality of information and records.

Talent Management / Recruitment
Prepare job vacancy announcements for “in-house” postings; as well as managing various individual sites such as Career Plug, Purple Briefcase, TWC, and other traditional advertising forums; close jobs as filled;
Attend job fairs, both in-person and virtually, prepare and submit an annual progress report of training activities;
Assist with and maintain HR intranet pages
Onboarding
Offer letters, prepare files for the new hire benefits orientation, verify all online forms have been completed, schedule orientation, assist/conduct orientation,
Conduct/assist with post-hire records management to include building employee folders, filing day to day employee record’s; assuring compliance with federal and state laws (I-9, retention); filing and maintenance of medical and benefit records
Administrative Duties
Create and maintain a system to record purchase orders and p-cards as needed; respond to all wage verification requests, employment verification requests, and external compensation survey requests;
Compile an excel spreadsheet listing agency and agency related logins as assigned to the position;
Gather data and provide dashboards for submission to the board;
Leave Management
Responsible for maintenance of EAP program through Lifeworks; LMS training assignments (Mineral Training) to include adding/removing employees;
Responsible for all components of Worker’s Compensation claims to include processing, follow up; TIBs and MMI payout benefits; assist with the annual worker's compensation carrier audit;
Responsible for accident investigation and assisting the Director of HR to develop a return to work program;
Provide backup support to HR Specialist with all components of FMLA; track FMLA & Military leave and temporary assignment pay (stipends);
Assist HR Director with internal surveys (stay surveys, engagement surveys, and surveys regarding pay, benefits, and other forms of compensation.
Compliance
Assist departments in identifying safety training opportunities;
Review and analyze accident and injury reports and identify areas of concern and recommend remedies to identified departments;
Verify sites have accessible SDS notebooks and legal posters posted in a visible location
Offboarding
Conduct exit surveys, assist departments through the exit process (provide the script); provide a list of items to be collected; notify Finance if a check needs to be cut in six (6) days; assist with COBRA notification;
Cross-train with HR Generalists to provide backup support when needed and other tasks/duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Formal Education:
Bachelors Degree in HR or related field required.
Experience:
Must have proficient knowledge of general HR procedures; requires a minimum of two years experience in a comparable, responsible position; and two (2) years of HR experience required.
Other Requirements:
Experience with Office 365 required; Power BI experience a plus; ability to create & proofread correspondence with strong spelling and grammar skills required; strong time management skills; able to deal with/assist employees with difficult and stressful issues courteously and diplomatically; punctuality and regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
