Optimum and Southwest Women's Oncology are seeking a dedicated and driven HR Generalist to join our high-performance team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

What You'll Do
HR Operations & Administration
- Support day-to-day HR operations across Southwest Women's Oncology and Optimum.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS data.
- Assist with implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support internal HR reporting, data tracking, and documentation management.
- Ensure employee files and documentation remain compliant with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Support recruitment efforts including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, and hiring logistics.
- Coordinate and execute onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and welcoming new hire experience.
- Manage onboarding documentation, background checks, and required employment verifications.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely and organized hiring processes.
Credentialing & Compliance
- Support provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes for physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate credentialing files and ensure all certifications, licenses, and regulatory requirements remain current.
- Coordinate credentialing documentation with insurance payers, hospitals, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Monitor and track expiration dates for licenses, certifications, and mandatory healthcare credentials.
Employee Relations & HR Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee HR inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
- Support the Head of HR with employee relations matters, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Assist with investigations, documentation, and resolution of workplace issues when required.
- Promote a positive employee experience aligned with company culture and values.
Benefits & Payroll Coordination
- Support benefits administration including enrollment, employee questions, and vendor coordination.
- Assist with benefits communications and documentation.
- Partner with Finance and HR leadership to ensure payroll information is accurate and timely.
HR Programs & Performance Support
- Assist with coordination and administration of HR programs including performance reviews, compensation reviews, and engagement initiatives.
- Help track timelines and documentation related to HR program cycles.
- Support leadership with HR reporting and preparation for HR initiatives.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of HR experience in a Generalist or HR Operations role.
- Experience supporting HR functions in healthcare, medical practice, or regulated environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Experience managing credentialing for providers or clinical staff strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with employment law and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.).
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is an asset.
