Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist for a consulting engagement supporting our client’s dynamic HR function. This position plays a key role in supporting core HR operations, with a strong focus on employee data management in Workday, reporting and analysis in Excel, and cross-functional collaboration across HR, Onboarding, and Business Partner teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Workday and Onboarding teams to enter, audit, and update employee data and personnel changes in Workday (HRIS).
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based reporting dashboards; deliver accurate and timely reports and data-driven presentations for HR Business Partners and senior leadership.
- Assist in various ad-hoc HR projects, ranging from compliance tracking to process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and broader HR teams to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes.
- Respond to employee inquiries, assist in onboarding activities, and perform other generalist tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or corporate environment
- Hands-on experience with Workday (required)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, data visualization)
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage fluctuating work hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
