    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable part time HR Generalist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will manage daily HR operations and complete HR-related projects as needed.

    Responsibilities

    Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires and ensure all proper procedures are followed during employee offboarding.

    HR Projects and Initiatives: Collaborate with leadership to support HR programs, policy development, and strategic initiatives that align with company goals. This is where your creative and strategic side can shine!

    Payroll Administration: Process and review bi-weekly payroll with accuracy, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

    HR Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, ensuring all paperwork is properly completed, filed, and securely stored.

    Recruitment Support: Partner with hiring managers to draft job descriptions, post job listings, review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews to support effective hiring decisions.

    Compliance and Reporting: Monitor and ensure adherence to employment laws and payroll regulations; assist with audits.

    Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other related matters utilizing your strong interpersonal skills.

    Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefit enrollment and changes, and ensure accurate benefits data is maintained.

    Policy and Handbook Maintenance: Help update and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure consistency and compliance.

    Vendor and Partner Relations: Act as the primary liaison with external benefits providers and recruiting agencies to coordinate services and resolve issues.

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree of any discipline, HR or business administration is preferred but not required.

    Experience: Prior experience in Human Resources.

    Knowledge Base: Basic understanding of employment laws, payroll regulations, benefits administration, and HR compliance best practices.

    Integrity & Confidentiality: A high degree of integrity and previous experience handling confidential information.

    Organization & Accuracy: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive employee information confidentially.

    Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.

    Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, respond to employee questions, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

    Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative and service-oriented mindset; able to build relationships across teams and with external partners.

    Compensation

    $25-$28/hour
