Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resource Generalist will support the Human Resources Operations, Employee Experience, and Culture and Talent Management initiatives. Under the direction of the Vice President of Administration & Operations the Human Resource Generalist will lead talent management, employee experience, and employee onboarding, and ensure CSWE compliance with employment laws, and human resources policies align with the mission and values of the organization.
The HR Generalist will support the day-to-day administration of human resources functions. This person will be people-centered, a problem solver and ensures to have a thorough understanding of HR practices and employment law. The Human Resources Generalist should be well versed and comfortable communicating with constituents from various diverse backgrounds.
HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS (40%)
EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE AND CULTURE (40%)
TALENT MANAGEMENT (20%)
Collaborates with the VP of Administration & Operations to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention needs.
Utilizes best practices for talent management including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development.
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent.
Fine-tune onboarding and offboarding processes for a seamless and positive employee journey.
Manage job postings, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
Attend job fairs and recruiting events to recruit when there is a need.
Champion compliance with employment laws and recommend best practices.
Manages new-hire onboarding process; coordinates the pre-hire process, including preparing offer letters and new-hire packets, processing background checks and reference screenings; prepares new-hire checklist and coordinates first-day details with candidate, IT, hiring manager, and VP of Administration & Operations.
Supports with the maintenance of the organization-wide organization chart.

COMPENSATION
• The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience ( $65,000-$70,000 annually ).
• CSWE offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 403b retirement contributions, and more.
ADA SPECIFICATIONS
This position is primarily sedentary and is performed in an office setting. The physical demands of this position are limited to the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and bend, stoop, and carry materials.
