    Jennie Joiner with The Forum Group PNW is working with our large multi-state organization to find a tech-savvy and curious Human Resources Information System Administrator to join its corporate HR team in Eugene, Oregon. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, solving problems, and learning how technology supports HR and payroll operations. This position is 100% on site, NO remote option.

    This is not a senior-level HRIS role. The team is open to candidates early in their careers, including recent graduates in Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar fields or individuals who are simply technically inclined and eager to learn. The organization is prepared to train the right person on its systems and processes.     The Team

    The HR department includes approximately 20 team members across HR, payroll, safety, benefits, and HR systems. This role will work closely with the payroll team and partner frequently with HR and IT functions.

    You will collaborate daily with another HRIS Analyst who will help guide system learning and provide ongoing support.


    What You'll Do

    In this role, you will help support and improve the organization's HR and payroll systems, primarily working within a Human Capital Management platform used for:

    • Payroll
    • Recruiting
    • Time and attendance
    • Benefits administration
    • Employee data management
    • Reporting and analytics

    Typical responsibilities include:

    • Assist with HRIS configuration, maintenance, and system updates
    • Support payroll and HR teams with system-related processes
    • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data exports
    • Help troubleshoot system issues and research solutions
    • Support data integrity and system security administration
    • Assist with system testing and improvements
    • Collaborate with HR, payroll, and internal teams to improve workflows
    • Research system functionality and best practices through vendor resources and user communities
    • Help train users and support adoption of system improvements

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 1–3 years of HRIS or systems-related experience OR equivalent training/education
    • Degree not required but recent graduates in Information Systems, Business Administration, HR, or related fields are encouraged to apply
    • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
    • Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG, Workday, ADP, Paycom, or similar systems is helpful but not required
