    GE Appliances is looking for someone who is passionate about streamlining processes, improving efficiencies, ensuring compliance, embracing details and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This intern role supports the Senior Manager, HR Operations, in day-to-day process improvement projects for GE Appliances using multiple technology platforms (i.e. Workday, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Application Programming Interface (API), etc.).

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    • Support our HR team in our process improvement efforts by applying continuous improvement methods (i.e., 5 Whys analysis, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma)
    • Analyze data, observe/document current processes and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Attend daily global RPA meetings, Monday - Friday at 8:00 AM ET.
    • Develop standard operating procedures (SOP)
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify additional opportunities for simplification.
    • Possess a passion for streamlining processes, improving efficiencies, ensuring compliance, embracing details, and guaranteeing accuracy.

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    Required Qualifications:

    • Enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university
    • Must be available daily Monday - Friday at 8:00 AM ET for global team meetings.
    • Must be able to work 25 hours or more per week while school is in session and full-time when school is not in session.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Demonstrated analytical ability
    • Exceptional organization and accuracy skills
    • Flexibility and being an early adopter of change are a must.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with web-based applications
    • Experienced in the use of Microsoft products
    • Outstanding customer service and resolution capability
