    HR People Partner (Remote | EST Time Zone)

    Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer , the HR People Partner supports the people operations of a global, remote organization. This role partners closely with a Senior HR People Partner and owns the majority of day-to-day HR administration, recruiting execution, employee lifecycle processes, leave management, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.

    This is a hands-on generalist role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment, enjoys building and improving scalable people processes, and wants to work on a small but mighty HR team. The HR People Partner balances operational excellence with employee advocacy while contributing to forward-thinking people practices, including AI-enabled workflows and data-driven decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    People Operations & Employee Lifecycle

    • Own core HR administrative processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, documentation, and records.
    • Deliver consistent, compliant onboarding experiences for a fully remote, global workforce.
    • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and prepare turnover reporting and insights.

    Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns, escalating sensitive or complex matters to the Senior HR People Partner.
    • Track corrective actions and employee relations documentation with professionalism and discretion.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and culture-building efforts in a remote environment.

    Leave, Benefits & Performance Support

    • Manage employee leave processes including FMLA, statutory, and global leave programs, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.
    • Support benefits administration, open enrollment coordination, and employee inquiries.
    • Assist with performance review cycles, merit processes, and related employee communications.

    HR Systems, Reporting & AI Enablement

    • Maintain data integrity within the HRIS/payroll system and ensure accurate global reporting.
    • Build recurring and ad-hoc reports using advanced Excel skills.
    • Create clear, leadership-ready PowerPoint materials for people programs and updates.
    • Leverage AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, reporting, documentation, and employee experience.
    • Support implementation and optimization of HR system modules (performance management, recruiting, onboarding, LMS).

    Recruiting & Hiring

    • Lead end-to-end recruiting efforts across roles and geographies, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
    • Partner with hiring managers to ensure an efficient, inclusive, and high-quality candidate experience.
    • Collaborate with the Senior HR People Partner on hiring strategy, calibration, and complex searches as needed.
    • Maintain accurate recruiting documentation in compliance with EEO/AAP requirements.

    Compliance & Policy

    • Ensure employee files, job descriptions, and HR practices comply with applicable local, state, federal, and international regulations.
    • Support EEO-1 reporting and required compliance documentation.
    • Partner with the HR team to review, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
    • Stay current on employment law changes impacting a remote, global workforce.

    Qualifications

    • 4–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR People Partner, or similar role
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
    • Strong working knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, leave administration, benefits, performance management, and employment law compliance
    • Experience with Rippling or similar HRIS/payroll systems
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and high level of discretion
