    EMPLOYEE BENEFITS SPECIALIST

    We are looking for an organized, analytical thinking employee to help us examine both client and employee benefits data (such as health insurance, life insurance, etc) and help to resolve errors. The position will collect information, analyze data, identify problems, and help to correct mistakes and develop strategies to minimize or eliminate errors.

    SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Working with clients, agents, and internal staff to research and solve problems
    • Analyzing and evaluating large amounts of mathematical data
    • Recording, reviewing, and interpreting data to determine the cause and fix of errors
    • Researching discrepancies, and other issues
    • Examining records, reports, or other documents and comparing them to company files
    • Bringing departmental strengths and weaknesses to the attention of management as applies to monthly trends
    • Heavy MS Excel report generation and combining to build accurate reports for analysis
    • Generating reports and presenting findings to management
    • Handling additional duties and special projects to ensure the business is operating efficiently and effectively

    SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience in Employee benefits, Accounting, Finance, or Business required
    • Exceptional research, planning, problem solving, critical thinking, and math skills
    • Initiative and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office with heavy emphasis on Excel
    • High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
