Local fast-paced medical office is looking for a Full-Time Medical Biller/Collector. The candidate should have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:

• Work closely with billing staff, medical insurance carriers, patients and other personnel to fulfill their requirements.
• Knowledge of standard industry practices and procedures within a outpatient medical office (billing dept, front office, eligibility, benefits, prior authorizations), required
• Experience and ability to work with electronic medical record and practice management systems, required
• Experience submitting compliant claims, posting payments and adjustments, required
• Experience with following up on claim status, resolving denials, submitting appeals, required
• Experience utilizing CPT & ICD10 coding, required 
• Experience with extracting CPT and ICD 10 from provider notes, required 
• Experience in E/M auditing and compliance a plus
• Experience utilizing Medicare NCD LCD ICC Edits and Other Payer’s Clinical Guidelines
• Ability to work accounts receivables and aging report
• Ability to explain financial responsibility to patients in person and over the phone
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions  
• Excellent communication and organization skills is mandatory
• Pay is commensurate with experience, education, and certification
