Family owned, 70-year-old industrial/construction tool and equipment company has an immediate opening for an experienced front counter / inside sales person. This position is considered the front line of contact with our retail customers therefore, the ideal candidate must possess good communication skills, have a positive attitude, and act and look professional.
The primary duties will be:
- Listening to the needs of our customers and providing solutions - Strong Customer Service skills required, as this position provides the highest level of service to the customers in person and on the phone.
- Processing orders, including cash, checks and credit cards
- Handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively
- Stocking Supplies as needed.
- Logging in tools for repair and handling the transactions of tools being picked up, cleaning the store always looking for messes that need cleaning and doing so quickly.
This will be a full time position Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Hourly rate based on experience
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
