Mentorship Academy is seeking bus drivers for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. The Bus Driver has the primary responsibility for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of the children, staff, and volunteers during bus transportation to and from the school and on field trips. It is also the role of the Bus Driver to guarantee that the bus is clean and in proper working condition at all times, follow safe and efficient bus routes, ensure all children are in appropriate child safety restraints, maintain transportation records as required by the program.

• Must possess a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) that has the "air brake" endorsement, hold a current School Bus Driver's Permit, and be certified in First Aid and CPR for all age groups transported
• Must be able to work early hours to drive route before school, as well as late hours to drive after school and during field trips
• Ability to focus and deliver on student and school needs
• Must be able and willing to learn, work effectively as a team member, manage time effectively and work efficiently

Applicants must pass an School Driver's physical and drug screening. They also must comply with the required background check, including fingerprints.
