    HR SPECIALIST (Part-Time)

     

    Aligned Solutions is seeking an HR Specialist for a well respected company. The HR Specialist will manage core human resources functions with a focus on performance reviews, employee relations, training coordination, and benefits support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, values clarity and consistency, and enjoys building systems that support both people and operations.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Performance Review Management

    • Coordinate and track quarterly performance reviews for all employees

    • Support managers with review templates, timelines, and feedback documentation

    • HR Manual Oversight

    • Update and refine the company’s HR manual to reflect current policies and practices

    • Lead deployment and ensure team-wide understanding and compliance

    • Training Coordination

    • Guide employees to required training modules and track completion progress

    • Maintain training records and recommend improvements to onboarding and development

    • Benefits Support

    • Serve as point of contact for employee benefits questions and enrollment

    • Coordinate with providers and employees during open enrollment and life events

    • Employee Relations

    • Foster a positive work environment by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and supporting team morale

    • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

    • Recruitment (Limited)

    • Assist with occasional hiring needs, including job postings and interview coordination

    • Support onboarding for new hires and contractors

     

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction, trades, or small business environments

    • Strong understanding of HR compliance, performance management, and benefits administration

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR systems

    • Ability to work independently and build trust across teams

     

    Bonus Skills

    • Familiarity with OSHA documentation and safety training

    • Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex)
