    Job Title: HR Specialist
    Location: Remote (Applicants must be physically located within the following states to be eligible to apply: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia)
    Job Type: Part-Time (10–15 hours per week)
    Hourly Salary Rate: Depending on experience
    Working Hours: Flexible hours between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Central Time Zone. Occasional evening hours may be required for interviewing applicants in different time zones.
    Equipment Requirement: Applicants must provide their own desktop or laptop computer and have reliable internet with video streaming capabilities.
    Mandatory Team Meetings: Virtual team meetings are mandatory and scheduled as follows: Each Thursday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm CDT.

    Job Overview

    As an HR Specialist at Tiny Troops Soccer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our admin team in various HR and operational tasks. You will provide experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance.     Key Responsibilities

    **1. Recruitment Support
    **

    • ****Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and scheduling interviews.
    • Maintain accurate candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).

    2. Onboarding and Orientation

    • Help facilitate the new hire onboarding process.
    • Prepare and distribute onboarding materials.

    3. Employee Records and Data Management

    • Maintain HR databases and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Assist in generating HR reports and quarterly KPI tracking.

    4. Employee Relations

    • Provide administrative support for employee relations activities, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
    • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, stay interviews, and exit interviews.

    5. Compliance and Policy Administration

    • Assist with applying HR policies in compliance with state and federal labor laws.
    • Support compliance efforts, such as I-9 verification, E-Verify, and sick leave policies.

    6. Other Administrative Duties

    • Facilitate administrative duties utilizing designated IT systems in accordance with the HR manual.
    • Track and collate organizational HR metrics (applications, interviews, no-shows, etc.); advise leadership on trends and recommend solutions.
    • Track coach information across all operating locations, maintaining records of certifications (e.g., CPR, Abuse Prevention, Background Checks).

    Required Qualifications

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Meet, Gmail, etc.).
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Minimum of 1 year of remote work experience.
    • Previous HR-related experience.
    • SHRM membership will be required after hire.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Military affiliation strongly welcomed.
    • Experience with Rippling or other HRIS/ATS software.
    • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
    • Experience with Slack.
    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
