Responsibilities:
Assemble various cable related products through the following methods:
Crimping lugs by either hand, hydraulic or pneumatic presses
Applying heat shrink by a heat gun or a heat tunnel
Using hand tooling requiring dexterity
Solder dipping with use of flux and melting pots
Using layout fixtures
Read, understand, and follow drawings related to custom cable assemblies
Ability to follow procedures and written documents (routings)
Contributes to company goals, identifies when we are falling behind and seeks solutions
Identify quality concerns and be accountable for ones own quality
Report defective parts
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Fair to good computer skills; must have basic working knowledge and some level of comfort using a PC
Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude, various pieces of equipment and hand tools may need to be used
Ability to work in a team environment
Acts responsible to ensure a safe work environment, safety must come first!
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of two years of experience working as an assembler.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and bill of materials.
Familiarity with various measuring devices, including but not limited to a tape measure.
Excellent English comprehension and writing skills, with the ability to understand and complete written instructions.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Availability to work from 6:00AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00AM – 2:30PM (Willing to work overtime)
