    Quick Cable – Custom Cable Technical Assembler

     

     

    Are you a skilled craftsman with a knack for assembling cable-related products? Do you excel in reading blueprints and effortlessly follow procedural documents? If you answered yes, your search ends here! QuickCable is eagerly seeking a dedicated assembler to join our tightly-knit, motivated team.     Responsibilities:

     

     

    • Assemble various cable related products through the following methods:

     

     

    • Crimping lugs by either hand, hydraulic or pneumatic presses

    • Applying heat shrink by a heat gun or a heat tunnel

    • Using hand tooling requiring dexterity

    • Solder dipping with use of flux and melting pots

    • Using layout fixtures

     

     

    • Read, understand, and follow drawings related to custom cable assemblies

    • Ability to follow procedures and written documents (routings)

    • Contributes to company goals, identifies when we are falling behind and seeks solutions

    • Identify quality concerns and be accountable for ones own quality

    • Report defective parts 

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Fair to good computer skills; must have basic working knowledge and some level of comfort using a PC

    • Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude, various pieces of equipment and hand tools may need to be used

    • Ability to work in a team environment

     

     

     

     

    • Acts responsible to ensure a safe work environment, safety must come first!

     

     


     

     

    Qualifications:

     

     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • A minimum of two years of experience working as an assembler.

    • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and bill of materials.

    • Familiarity with various measuring devices, including but not limited to a tape measure.

    • Excellent English comprehension and writing skills, with the ability to understand and complete written instructions.

    • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Availability to work from 6:00AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

     

     

    Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00AM – 2:30PM (Willing to work overtime)
