    Fischer USA, located in Racine WI, is looking for an Engineering Supervisor who enjoys being active and hands-on as well as handling the supervisor roles. The Engineering Supervisor will manage a team and be the primary company resource for information related to spindles, drives and other related accessories. The position’s scope also extends to facilities and equipment required to produce or test mechanical or electrical high-speed spindle support systems.

    About the Job:

    The candidate needs to be a committed, driven leader with extensive Engineering knowledge and hands-on experience with manufacturing. The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the department’s daily operation. In addition, the position will create processes to enhance operation productivity. The Engineering Supervisor will manage a team and assign, train and supervise as needed. They will also interface with other integral departments on a regular basis. The oversight of use of equipment, specifically Siemens NX-12 as primary modeling and drafting tool, SAP, and Teamcenter Data Management.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
    • 5-10 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Strong background with ERP systems
    • Strong Knowledge of CAD, GD&T, CAD, 3D Modeling, Drafting
    • An understanding of electric motors a plus
    • An understanding of machine tool industry a plus
    • Flexible and accommodating nature
