    Orion– Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

    Join Orion, a leader in innovation, as a Senior Technical Quality Assurance Engineer. We're looking for a seasoned professional with 6-8 years of QA experience, adept in overseeing software testing for web-based and mobile applications. In this role, you'll lead testing efforts in an Agile Development Environment, covering various testing types, both manual and automated. Proficiency in .NET, SQL, and mobile testing (IOS and Android) is crucial.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead Agile testing in a dynamic development environment
    • Conduct functional, regression, user acceptance (UAT), unit, load, and performance testing
    • Prepare Test Planning, Test Strategy and Test Plan document based on project requirements and schedules
    • Writing and maintaining test cases for bi-weekly sprint, releases, hotfixes etc.
    • Provide test summary reports
    • Identify and report software defects with Details bug reports, including steps to reproduce
    • Participate in code reviews to ensure automation code quality and best practices
    • Report defects to software developers by recording software defects with a bug-tracking system
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive test coverage
    • Verify and review software and business requirements.
    • Work with Product manager and team to triage and prioritize issues

    Qualifications:

    • 6-8 years of QA industry experience with a track record of leading testing efforts.
    • Proficient in Agile testing methodologies.
    • Expertise knowledge of QA methods, tool and testing practices
    • Experience in Automation frameworks
    • Expertise in functional, UAT, regression, unit, load, and performance testing.
    • Collaborative approach with developers and product managers.
    • Full-cycle development experience, including writing, executing, and maintaining test plans.
    • Expertise in Defect report Cycle
    • Proficiency in .NET and ability to read code.
    • Have an excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred:

    • Familiarity with TECH STACK: JavaScript, TFS, Visual Studio, ASP.net web forms, SQL (nice to have), Web API, Widows Communication Foundation Services, Dev Express, Xamarin/MAUI (For mobile platforms).


      Education:

    • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Information Technology or related field.
