HR & Compliance Coordinator – Home Care North Orange County | Full-time, In-Office
Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda is a growing senior home care company serving seniors and families throughout North Orange County. We're part of a respected national brand — with the systems and standards that come with it — while still being locally owned and run. We're looking for the person who keeps our office and caregiver team running like a clock.
This is an in-office HR and operations role. It's not a field position and it's not high-volume cold recruiting. It's the seat for someone who likes getting things done right the first time, takes pride in a clean, audit-ready file, and isn't afraid to have a straight-talk conversation with an employee when it's needed.
If you've been an office manager, operations manager, HR coordinator, or staffing/onboarding lead at a home care agency, home health company, skilled nursing facility, assisted living community, or busy medical office, this is right in your wheelhouse.
What you'll own:
Onboarding & compliance: Guide new caregivers through onboarding start to finish — I-9s, W-4s, background checks, and the full stack of state-required paperwork — and make sure every form is done correctly. Keep our online system and hard files organized and audit-ready for the state and our franchisor.
Staying ahead of expirations: Own every deadline — annual trainings, MVRs, CEUs, TB tests. You're the one who won't let anything lapse.
Hiring: Own the caregiver hiring process — interviews, vetting, the final hire/no-hire call, and getting the right people onboarded. You'll have teammates in the room; you're not making these calls alone.
Payroll & HR administration: Work hand in hand with our payroll provider (Paychex PEO) on caregiver payroll, final checks, unemployment claims, and related filings. You keep the details accurate and on time.
Caregiver relations: Be the day-to-day point person for our caregiver team. Handle the everyday employee issues that come up — from a chronic late arrival to a performance conversation — and keep everyone compliant and supported.
You're a fit if you:
Are relentlessly organized and actually enjoy checklists, deadlines, and follow-through
Have home care, home health, senior living, or healthcare-admin/HR experience
Can build a solid, no-nonsense relationship with caregivers — and hold a firm line when you need to
Have the judgment to make good hiring and employee-relations calls
Are bilingual English/Spanish (big plus)
Want a stable, in-office role with a team that has your back — not a high-pressure field or sales seat
Are willing to participate in the office off-hour emergency phone rotation
We're a tight, well-run team that's served local seniors for years, and we treat our people right. If keeping things buttoned-up and your team on track is your idea of a good day, you'll love it here.
Please Note- While we have a full complement of wellness benefits, we do not have a health insurance offering at this time.
This agency is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the agency, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this agency.
