    HR2Fit is in partnership with Nerds to Go in North Hampton NH to find amazing candidates!

    We are looking for Field Service Technicians, who we call Nerds, to join our team!

    The Nerd will complete desktop configurations, installations and upgrades of personal computer hardware and software, perform inventories and preventative maintenance, provide software and operating system support on Mac and all versions of Windows.

    The Nerd must have strong field service background and customer service skills. Nerds must have solid technical skills, good communication skills and the desire to be a part of growing and exciting team.

     

    Technical Qualifications:
    We require A+ certification as well as a background in networking essentials. Onsite repair experience and other certifications such as Network+, ACMT, and MCSE are desirable. The successful candidate will also have to pass our Nerd Test.

     

    Customer Service Skills:

    • Experience in working with non-technical customers and setting them at ease

    • Detail oriented

    • Proactive in problem solving

    • Enjoys working with residential customers and small businesses

     

    Duties Include:

    • Onsite computer solutions for Windows-based PCs and Apple computers

    • Network installation and maintenance (wired, wireless, LAN, WAN)

    • Data recovery and loss prevention

    • Virus protection and Spyware/Adware removal

    • Computer security enhancement

    • PC Hardware and software fault isolation and repair

    • System repair and upgrades

    • Software upgrade and installation

    • One-on-one training

     

    Skills & Experience

    • 2-5 years of experience with Windows-based PCs (Win7, Win8, Win10) and networking

    • Strong knowledge of PC troubleshooting and repair, both hardware and software/OS

    • Knowledge of network troubleshooting, wiring, PC troubleshooting (ex. Network+, MCSE, etc.)

    • Proficiency with peer-to-peer and client/server network configurations and troubleshooting

    • Professional, high-energy, customer-oriented work ethic

    • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

    • Must be willing to submit to mandatory background check

    • Optional: MS Servers, routers, switches, hubs, gateways, print servers, Windows firewalls/proxies

     

    Core hours:
    M-F 9-6, rotating Saturday shift may be required. Closed on Sunday.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $20-25/HR plus generous bonus and incentive programs
