Job Description

Provide customers with classroom and hands-on instruction for Operation of BAE System Bradley based products, including the Armored Multi Purpose Vehicle (AMPV). Individuals hired will be required to successfully complete the Army Basic Instructor Course and a Platform certification program administered by other qualified Vehicle Operator Instructors.

Skills Required

Thorough knowledge of Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) operations, including but not limited to driving, communications, and operator level maintenance. Must be familiar with the safe and effective use of all standard hand tools, use of standard safety and personal protective equipment. Must be able to lift and carry equipment and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to access vehicle through all ingress and egress locations. Must be able to function effectively in a military motorpool environment.

Skills Preferred

Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 11B - Infantrymen, 11C Mortarman, 12B - Combat Engineer, 13F Forward Observer, 13J Fire Direction Center Operator

Experience Required

No less than 5 years hands-on BFV operation experience.

Experience Preferred

Bradley Platoon Sergeant, Vehicle Commander Instructor experience Battle staff experience

Education Required

Completion of US Army AIT, MOS 11B, 11C,11M, 12B, 13F or 13J

Education Preferred

Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or equivalent
