    HRU has teamed up with Volkswagen Group of America to find a Supplier Management Analyst for it's Chattanooga, TN location. Duties & Responsibilities Represents interests of Volkswagen Group of America at Supplier locations where development of new chemical buy parts projects fall behind their committed timeline and risk the milestones of a Project. This specialist will need to analyze previous documents (Trip Reports, Commitments, Capacity validation). Specialist will need to make on-site visit and gather information from a mix of interviews, review of planned equipment layout, observation of equipment in operation, counting output and recording downtime. This information is put together in an OEE analysis of the process, which is compared to the original planned parameters of the process. All information pulled together in a recovery plan with actions, responsibility, and timeline. Task is availability of vehicle components at the right time, at the right place, at the right capacity, at the right quality for the agreed cost. Main tasks include (not exhaustive): • Lead cross-functional reviews with suppliers to monitor timeline for parts availability accordingly with VW requirements and specifications. • Provide strategic direction regarding the focus of critical components and key manufacturing events to ensure transparency and reliability during the entire ramp up phase. • Oversee and ensure the on time first sample submission, and timely implementation of optimization for Cubing and “Meisterbock” events. • Leading, reviewing, and evaluating resolution of critical issues and implementation of action plans, etc. • Guarantee action plans are implemented on time and within the cost target. • Perform capacity assessment at suppliers of assigned scope, attesting that the implemented process is capable to fulfill the nominated volume. • Ensures that updates and presentations are correct and timely when presented to management. Education and Skills Requirements • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Management, or equivalent mix of education and experience • ?5 years’ experience in related field • Clear understanding of Launching new products, Program Management, Product Management and Manufacturing. • Experience in exterior and interior molded components of automotive industry from tooling to complete assemblies. • Analyze deviations from project timeline. • Make effective recommendations to recover timeline. • Develop recommendations into timeline and resource feasible plan.
