    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage time efficiently and continually improve personal work ethic.

    • Work with cross-functional team to complete projects on time while meeting planned budget.

    • Communicate with team members, management, and customers regarding job progress and identify potential issues.

    • Demonstrate initiative to analyze problems and innovate best solutions.

    • Develop project proposals for new automation projects and

      estimate costs to design and build custom automation projects.

    • Maintain accurate, organized files on all projects estimated.

    • Prepare formal quotes drawings and presentations for customer submission.

    • Support project hand-off to designers and project management.

    • Analyze parts, part data, part drawings, machine designs and other documentation to provide accurate and detailed project kick-off.

    • Manage time and activities to meet stringent deadlines and estimating schedules.

    • Use engineering practices, design software, brainstorming, and research to develop unique solutions to manufacturing problems our customers encounter.

    • Gather costs of purchased components as well as working with other departments to develop a cost and labor structure to accomplish the goals of the project concept.

    • Work with new and existing customers in conjunction with sales team to understand problems they encounter in manufacturing, and developing solutions to those problems.

    • Provide continuous communication with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

    • Provide help and support to a passionate team.

    • Work with purchasing team to prepare estimates for product orders.

    • Establish and maintain working relationships with customers vendors, suppliers and engineers.

    • Maintain quote log and create project proposals.

    • May perform other duties are assigned or required.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

    • 5+ years’ experience as estimator or similar position

    • Exquisite math and IT ability with an analytical mindset

    • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
