    Job Description

    JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative

     LOCATION: Northwest Houston (near 290 and the Beltway) COMPENSATION: $40,000 - $60,000 + Benefits! HT Building Products offers a 401(k) with a company match, 100% of health care premiums are company-paid for our base plan, ample paid time off and more!  

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Primary contact for customer's purchase department
    • Create estimates and bids for new customers
    • Verification of order accuracy
    • A front lines liaison for builders and purchasing departments
    • Invoice completed work
    • Developing new accounts by supporting Outside Sales team
    • Receive vendor purchase orders to process for payment
    • Collaborate with Outside Sales and Scheduling to deliver HT Building Products’ value proposition to its customers
    • Implement customer feedback program to ensure consistent quality of products and services.
    • Handle incoming calls for product purchases
    • Performs bi-weekly margin research for review
    • Log KPIs for Scheduling and Warranty Coordinators

    IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·       Bachelor’s degree or other relevant business experience

    ·       Experience with customer service and interaction.

    ·       Understand basic math skills to be used in pricing material, costing orders, and managing inventory stock levels.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Strong team player.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, and outlook.
    • Willingness to learn.
    • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and professionalism at all times.
    • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
    • Possess strong time management skills.
    • Not intimidated by social interaction on the phone or in person.
