FULL STACK SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

POSITION SUMMARY

The job entails working with the new United States Space Force command on cutting edge projects.  You will work closely in a peer programming environment with the application development team on technical design, improvement, and maintenance of internet applications for public-facing properties using various web development or web management platforms. This is a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, responsibility, and time-management skills. 

EXPERIENCE AND CANDIDATE PROFILE

3+ years of experience with Java, C/C++. .NET, Python, PHP and web development and /or related technologies (Javascript, Angular, React)

Able to write complex SQL statements utilizing an RDBMS (Sql Server, Oracle, PostGres, MySQl, etc.)

Able to write well-designed, well-documented, elegant code into complex development environments

Able to work with a fast-paced team in an ever-shifting environment

Adaptable to the demands of all levels and types of production

Team player, capable of juggling multiple projects,  detailed-oriented, web standards-driven and a self-starter

Able to absorb a lot of information and produce quickly

Big picture and critical thinker

Excellent English, oral, and written communication skills

Maintain an atmosphere of professionalism

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or commensurate experience

Most of all, able to have fun and be part of a collaborative environment 

NICE TO HAVES: Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Exposure to Platform One Software Ecosystems
