Role:

At The HUB, our Barbacks are the backbone of the bar team. They prepare and stock all necessities in the bar, change kegs, and upkeep the keg coolers and storage areas. Our barbacks assist the bartenders with behind-the-bar tasks, and ensure the guests are enjoying their time while at the bar. This position is $10.00 per hour plus tip share.

Requirements:

Excellent Communication, time management, and organization skills

Available to work any shift and all holidays.

Ability to do repetitive work.

Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.

Must have problem solving abilities; be self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task.

Knowledgeable of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

Maintain current Food Handlers certification and TABC for the duration of employment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time within OSHA and state requirements.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs.

Close and distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work with moderate to loud noise level.

Slip resistant shoes required

Tasks:

Prep and restock pre-made cocktails.

Change kegs.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness in workstations and guest facing areas.

Put away all spirit/beer/wine orders.

Follow The HUB’s safety & operational checklists, including opening and closing.

Restock bars.

Assist bar staff with guest needs.

Qualifications:

Must love puppies! We are pet friendly!

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and attention to detail.

Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
