    The Opportunity This is a contractor engagement with ground-floor, high-ownership scope. You will be the growth architect for eKnowID — building, testing, and scaling the systems that turn curious small business owners into paying, loyal customers. We’ll be straight with you:

    There is no warm pipeline. No established campaigns. No legacy playbook to optimize. What DOES exist: a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, validated ICP framework, revenue model, prospect sourcing infrastructure, and a 1,500-account customer base segmented and ready for reactivation. The strategy is built. What’s missing is the operator to execute it. If you need a fully built marketing machine to tweak, this is not your role. If you thrive on taking a loaded strategy and turning it into revenue, keep reading.

    You will work directly with the Founder/CEO on a contract basis as a growth leader — not a task executor. You are expected to bring execution discipline, set the pace, and own the outcomes. You’ll direct and collaborate with an existing team that includes a Social Media Content Assistant, copywriters, and video editors. Your job is to be the strategic growth operator; the team executes alongside you.

    What You Walk Into on Day 1

    This is not a blank slate. The strategic foundation has been built. You’re inheriting a loaded operation:

    Three-Engine Revenue Model — Engine 1 (Starving Crowd: new business formations via free public databases), Engine 2 (Triggered Established: outbound to firms experiencing detectable pain events), Engine 3 (Paid Social: pain-based ads across Facebook/LinkedIn/Google). Fully modeled with funnel math, conversion rates, and channel benchmarks.

    ICP Battle Plan — 7-layer Ideal Customer Profile with 100-point scoring matrix. Three priority segments validated against Hormozi’s “Starving Crowd” framework: (1) Newly licensed independent insurance agencies, (2) Mortgage brokers and RIAs, (3) Staffing firms in surge mode. Anti-ICP disqualification criteria to prevent pipeline bloat.

    Avatar Deep Dive — Complete psychological profile of the primary buyer (SMB CEO/Owner), including fear/guilt/aspiration drivers, objection map, competitive alternative analysis, and messaging hooks.

    Q1 Execution Plan — 13-week, week-by-week operational plan targeting 333 customers at $1,500 average bundle = $500K/quarter. Includes list sources, outbound sequences, ad budgets, and conversion math per engine.

    Win-Back Campaign — 7-email reactivation sequence built from actual inactive user data analysis (691 actionable contacts, segmented into three waves by recency and identifiability). Ready to deploy in HubSpot.

    Tier 1 Prospect Sourcing Map — 493K+ total addressable market across 11 verticals. Specific database sources (NIPR, SEC ADV, NMLS, Apollo.io) with step-by-step extraction playbooks for building named, enriched prospect lists.

    Rebuilt Platform — Full eKnowID platform redesign launched January 2026. New UX, faster navigation, mobile-responsive, cleaner reports. This is your “why now” hook for re-engagement and new acquisition.

    Existing Team — Social Media Content Assistant, copywriters, and video editors ready for strategic direction. HubSpot CRM in place. Apollo.io for enrichment.

    What You’ll Own

    Phase 1: Reactivation + Pipeline Build (Days 1–90)

    Your first 90 days are focused on three things: activate the win-back campaign, build the outbound pipeline, and launch paid social. Everything else is Phase 2.

    Deploy the 7-email win-back campaign to 691 segmented lapsed accounts. Target: 35–50 reactivations, $37K–58K revenue. Near-zero cost.

    Build Engine 1/2 outbound pipeline. Pull prospect lists from NIPR, SEC, NMLS. Enrich via Apollo. Build and launch cold email + phone sequences targeting new insurance agencies, mortgage brokers, RIAs, and staffing firms. Target: 20+ demos/week by Day 60.

    Launch Engine 3 paid social. Stand up Facebook/LinkedIn/Google ad campaigns using the four pain-trigger ad concepts. Start at $3K/month, optimize, scale winners. Target: blended CPA under $200.

    Own HubSpot end-to-end. Workflows, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, segmentation, and reporting. Build automated nurture sequences that move prospects from first touch through trial, conversion, and upsell.

    Phase 2: Scale + Optimize (Days 91–180)

    Scale winning Engine 3 ad creatives. Increase monthly ad spend to $6K–$10K on channels with proven ROAS.

    Expand outbound to Tier 2 verticals (healthcare, law firms, construction) based on Phase 1 conversion data.

    Launch SEO strategy targeting high-intent SMB hiring and background check keywords.

    Direct content team on blog posts, resource guides, and video content aligned to validated buyer personas.

    Build referral program leveraging reactivated and new customers.

    Develop and refine brand voice and messaging consistency across all channels.

    Phase 3: Revenue Machine (Days 181–365)

    Own the $2M annual revenue target through data-driven acquisition and retention.

    Identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities in SMB, HR tech, and staffing communities.

    Provide recommendations on internal team structure and future hires as revenue targets are achieved.

    Build dashboards and reporting cadence that leadership uses to make decisions.

    90-Day Success Criteria We don’t wait 12 months to know if this is working. Here’s what success looks like at each checkpoint:

    Why the higher retainer range: We’re asking for a senior operator who can independently drive $2M in revenue. At 1099 rates, contractors cover their own self-employment tax (~15.3%), health insurance, and tools. A $5K–$8K range attracts mid-level marketers; $8K–$12K with uncapped performance bonuses attracts the operators who can actually deliver. The math: at 3% of $2M attributed revenue, the performance bonus alone is $60K — making total annual compensation $156K–$204K for someone who hits the target. That’s aligned incentive.

    What You Bring

    Non-Negotiable

    5+ years of hands-on growth marketing experience with a proven track record tied to revenue outcomes — not impressions, not followers. Show us the revenue numbers.

    HubSpot expert. Deep proficiency in workflows, automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and reporting. This is our CRM — you must own it.

    Demonstrated SMB marketing success (B2B). You understand how small business owners buy: fast decisions, trust-driven, price-sensitive but value-responsive.

    Paid media operator. Strong command of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager. You’ve managed $5K+/month budgets and optimized to CPA targets.

    Cold outbound experience. You’ve built and run email sequences, managed SDR workflows, and know the difference between a spray-and-pray blast and a targeted, trigger-based campaign.

    AI-native operator. You actively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) and automated workflows to accelerate content creation, campaign execution, and decision-making. This is an AI-forward organization — you champion adoption, not just tolerate it.

    Exceptional copywriter. Subject lines, landing pages, ad copy, email sequences — you can produce compelling copy that converts.
