  • Responsibilities

    Humble Origins Hospitality is currently hiring for an experienced assistant general manager. Candidate must have scheduling flexibility including nights and weekends. HILTON EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Must be outgoing with an emphasis on guest satisfaction, hotel cleanliness, employee training/retention, and outside sales (Sales and Events, SalesPro, or Delphi sales experience required) Ideal candidate must have a passion for hospitality and a desire to grow both personally and professionally.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    • Ensure excellence in guest service while overseeing Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping Administrative and F&B functions.

    • Perform technical and administrative duties including writing and reviewing reports (occupancy, yield management, capital planning, payroll, etc.).

    • Interview, hire, coach and counsel team members in the efficient operation of their respective areas.

    • Continuously monitor staff to ensure the adherence to pre-established policies and procedures; delegation of duties; daily property inspections; active participation in community affairs; and willingness and ability to engage in effective communication with corporate staff and property owners.

    • This is an excellent opportunity for strong Guest Services Managers looking to grow in their careers.

    • Supports team members to ensure their entire workload is completed daily.

    • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, being on-call 24-7 to handle any hotel needs.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated positive customer service skills, and ability to relate to people of varying ages and backgrounds.

    • Ability to show flexibility in response to change and adapt to and accommodate new methods and procedures.

    • Ability to stand and move for the duration of an 8-hour shift while continuously performing essential job functions.

    • Ability to life up to 25 pounds regularly.
