HVAC manufacturer’s representative located in Central and South Texas is seeking an HVAC Aftermarket/Owner Outside Sales Representative to join our team! You will work within the HVAC end user space promoting and selling HVAC products and offer solutions to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for initiating new business and calling upon assigned customers including end users, owners, and developers within Mechanical Reps market as required and responsible for proactive follow up of projects
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
- Create sales material to present to customers
- Selling entire product line into the assigned customer territory
- Estimating and project management of projects assigned
- Processing orders, submittals, acknowledgements, project management, etc. for complete sales transaction
- Attend industry meetings and manufacturer training, sales meetings, etc.
- Assisting in presentations and seminars to promote company products and services
Qualifications:
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of HVAC products
- Business networking experience
- 2+ years sales experience in HVAC industry preferred
- Willingness to travel
- Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Compensation structure is a salary/draw plus commission
