    Rentmeister Total Home Service is a family-owned and operated HVAC company located in Syracuse, Utah. Since 1953, we have been providing top-notch heating and cooling solutions to our community. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable and professional services, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our growing team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist the journeyman with the installation of heating and cooling equipment (HVAC systems).

    Ductwork Installation: Running supply and return ducting (metal or flex) throughout the building.

    Equipment Setting: Positioning heavy equipment like furnaces, heat pumps, and air handlers in designated areas.

    Refrigerant Lines & Drains: Installing copper line sets for air conditioning and PVC drain lines for condensation.

    Ventilation & Exhaust: Installing vent pipes for gas units and, in some cases, bath fan exhaust vents.

    Structural Coordination: Cutting holes through studs and joists for duct passage and sealing them for energy efficiency.

    Use basic hand and power tools.

    Work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and company procedures.

    Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials for job sites.

    Help with site clean-up and ensure work areas are left tidy after installations.

    Be comfortable working in all types of weather.

    Qualifications:

    Must have at least one year of previous HVAC installation experience-Required

    Ability to use basic hand and power tools

    Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.

    Valid driver’s license and great driving record

    Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen (We do not accept Medical Marijuana Cards)

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

    Preferred Qualifications: RMGA Certified EPA Certified Currently or willingness to attend HVAC trade school
