REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of estimating experience within HVAC/sheet metal/building systems
• BlueBeam software experience
• Knowledgeable in estimating software and contract documentation
• Must be able to design/figure out problems on the fly
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather and analyze historical cost data, blueprints, and project documents to create accurate estimates.

• Collaborate with clients, vendors, engineers, and construction teams to resolve issues and refine project costs.

• Prepare detailed estimates and proposals to support project planning, scheduling, and bidding.

• Review contracts, attend site walk-throughs, and participate in pre-bid meetings to clarify project scope.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

• Support project managers with material takeoffs, pricing changes, and coordination with engineering

• Proactively escalate complex issues to the Estimating Manager with recommended solutions.
