HVAC Design Engineer - HVAC - Base Salary to 130k/year - Sterling, VA

• Our client, a stable, fast-growing mechanical servicing company, has an immediate need for an HVAC Design Engineer to work out of their Sterling, VA office. Our client has been in business for over 30 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry. The NoVA team operates as a tight-knit group, always willing to help each other out, and are looking for someone who operates from a “customer first” mentality in order to fit into this culture.

Responsibilities:

• In this position, the HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for working on ongoing project system designs. They will handle load calculations and system sizing, development of permit drawings, and help with project pricing and proposals. They will assist the sales team and work as a technical resource and help with site surveys. They will work with the end user (facility owners, maintenance managers and engineers).

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate for this position will possess at least 3+ years in an engineering role with exposure to MEP systems. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. This position works directly with clients.

Compensation:
