Technical Instruction: Train team members in preventive maintenance, no-cool/no-heat diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, motors, capacitors, contactors, controls, compressors, refrigerant diagnostics (superheat/subcooling), leak detection, airflow/static pressure, furnaces, heat pumps, thermostats, condensate/drainage, IAQ, and diagnostic tools.
Structured Training: Conduct weekly hands-on training sessions every Monday and Thursday combining instruction, troubleshooting exercises, and field examples.
Evaluation & Progression: Assess apprentice readiness for advancement based on demonstrated competency. Document deficiencies, provide corrective coaching, and report progress to management.
Truck & Inventory: Perform routine truck inspections to verify required stocking levels, inventory organization, and professional standards.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week (mostly field-based). Mondays & Thursdays include structured technical training. Weekend responsibility includes on-call technical phone support.
Pay: Weekly Salary + Performance Commission (opportunity to earn 5% of qualifying revenue generated by assigned apprentices).
