Position Summary:
We're hiring an Inside Sales Representative to help drive the success of our newly launched HVAC division. This role is pivotal in managing incoming leads, converting inquiries into booked service calls, and providing top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management: Respond to inbound calls, online inquiries, and referrals to qualify and convert leads into scheduled HVAC service appointments or estimates.
- Outbound Follow-Up: Make outbound calls to warm leads, previous customers, or inactive accounts to generate new business opportunities.
- CRM Management: Accurately enter customer data, service needs, and follow-up activities into our CRM and scheduling systems.
- Customer Engagement: Provide detailed product and service information to potential customers, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and courtesy.
- Sales Support: Assist with creating and sending estimates, tracking proposal statuses, and following up to close sales.
- Coordination: Collaborate with dispatchers, technicians, and managers to ensure a smooth handoff from sales to service delivery.
- KPI Monitoring: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and conversion goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to improve scripts, processes, and customer communication strategies.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1–3 years in inside sales, customer service, or administrative roles; HVAC or trades industry experience preferred.
Communication Skills: Clear, persuasive, and confident communicator—both verbal and written.
Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM platforms, scheduling tools, and basic office applications.
Sales Mindset: Results-oriented with a proactive approach to closing sales and meeting goals.
Organization & Follow-Through: Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
Customer Focused: Positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping customers solve problems.
Working Conditions:
- Location: In-office at our Davenport, IA location
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Environment: Fast-paced, collaborative, and supportive office setting
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $52,000 annually
- Commission: 3% commission on closed sales
