    The HVAC Install Lead is responsible for leading residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish. This role oversees install crews, ensures high-quality workmanship, maintains safety standards, and delivers an excellent customer experience while meeting company performance goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and manage HVAC installation crews on residential projects

    Install complete HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and accessories

    Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards

    Read and interpret blueprints, job layouts, and system designs

    Coordinate job site logistics, materials, and tools

    Train, mentor, and support install helpers and junior technicians

    Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer basic system questions

    Complete job documentation, photos, and paperwork accurately

    Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning

    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

    Identify potential issues and proactively recommend solutions

    Work closely with dispatch, sales, and management teams

    Qualifications

    4–6+ years of residential HVAC installation experience

    Prior leadership or crew-lead experience preferred

    Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, airflow, duct design, and controls

    Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation manuals

    EPA Certification (required)

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    Strong problem-solving and communication skills

    Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops

    Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

    Local or state HVAC license

    Monday–Friday with occasional overtime as needed
