About the Role:

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Westchester, NY is looking for a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join their growing team in Thornwood, NY. Responsibilities:

Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to ensure proper system installation

Perform startup, testing, and commissioning of newly installed HVAC equipment

Collaborate with service technicians and project managers to meet installation deadlines

Ensure all installations meet local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications

Communicate professionally with customers, explaining system operation and maintenance best practices

Maintain a clean, organized job site and company vehicle

Requirements:

2+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience required

EPA 608 Certification required

Solid knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems and components

Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
