    Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts. Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with occasional overtime or on-call rotation during peak seasons.

    Job Summary

    Viviano Heating and Cooling, a leading commercial HVAC contractor in Collinsville, IL, is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician who will service, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units/ equipment for residential customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the residential HVAC industry and is motivated to do quality work, plus further their career.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Service, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment at residential buildings.

    Wire low voltage to cooling and heating equipment

    Install refrigerant lines to AC units, including copper brazing and soldering and pressing

    Ensure proper connection of gas lines to heating equipment

    Determine the right material needed for installation work by pre-measuring jobs

    Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems

    Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate systems

    Maintain and submit service call reports or start-up reports for new and/or replaced units

    Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies

    Identify and report to management potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts and additional services)

    Qualifications:

    3-5 years of experience in service, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues

    Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, manuals, and wiring diagrams

    Must hold a valid state driver’s license and have a clean driving record
