AllStar Heating & Cooling Corp. is currently looking for a full-time HVAC/PTAC Helper. We want someone that really wants to learn and advance in the areas that our company works in. You would be assisting and learning from our experienced technicians. We have been a family owned and operated business for over 40 years and believe that hard work can also be fun.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation and repair of HVAC and PTAC equipment.

Willingness to learn and advance.

Furnish tools, materials and supplies to other workers.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Track all equipment and supplies.

Help organize and clean the shop, warehouse, and maintain inventory.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintenance on PTAC units.

Perform basic repairs.

Qualifications:

HVAC schooling; currently in program or has completed.

Strong work ethic and attitude.

Reliable and available to work long hours when needed.

Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. multiple times within any given shift to perform service and install work.

Individual may need to alternate sitting, standing, kneeling or crawling to be able to perform the service work necessary on a customer’s system.

Ability to work well in teams.

Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Outgoing, professional, clean-cut, and drug free

Must be able to write and speak English clearly.

MUST HAVE Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Must be able to drive company vehicles.

Have reliable transportation and live 15 miles from Carol Stream

Agree to drug testing.

Enjoy working with customers.

Qualifications that are a Plus!

Any type of EPA certification (Type I, II, or Universal).
